This course will provide students with an overview of Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools. Students will become familiar with the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control (DMAIC) methodology as well as experience a simulated Kaizen process improvement event. Students will use actual Lean Six Sigma tools in a group setting to practice Process Improvement.
This course covers Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. These principles can be used by any organization to focus on customer value, reduce waste, improve flow, and reduce or eliminate variation. This course is specifically designed to train organizational managers in their leadership role of program deployment and the development of staff in a Lean Six Sigma culture.
This four-day in depth course is designed to provide a facilitators level of understanding and application of the Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement methodology. Training includes project selection, basic statistical analysis and the DMAIC approach to facilitating a Kaizen Event (small-medium complexity project).
